Description
Turkeys forage for food in a mixed conifer hardwood forest of Ontario, Canada. Turkeys are omnivorous but prefer to eat nuts, seeds berries, roots and insects. The have 5000 to 6000 feathers in a multitude of colours. The males strut and puff up their feathers to attract the females during mating season in early spring.
