Located on the Haihe River between Tianjin Railway Station East Railway Station and Jiefang North Road, Jiefang Bridge is an all-steel open bridge built in 1927. The length of the bridge is 97.64 meters and the total width of the bridge deck is 19.5 meters. It is not only one of the landmark buildings in Tianjin, but also a pivotal bridge connecting Hebei, Hedong and Heping districts and Tianjin Station area. Tianjin Liberation Bridge, also known as the Wanguo Bridge, commonly known as the French Bridge and the French-Russian Bridge, is one of the only three open bridges in the Haihe River Bridge. It connects the Century Bell Square in Hebei Province and the North Liberation Road in Heping District. It is located on the Haihe River between Tianjin Railway Station and the North Liberation Road.
