The Tiber Italian Tevere, Latin Tiberis is the second longest river in Italy; with 406 km, it springs from the Apennine Mountains and flows into the Tyrrhenian Sea. Its main guests are Chiani, Paglia, Teverone and Nera.Tibet is also known for traveling to Rome, founded on its banks at about 25 km from the mouth of the Tyrrhenian Sea.The initial name of this river is Albula. According to Titus Livius, Tiberinus the son of Capetus, in his attempt to cross this river, drowned. So after this incident the Albula River was named Tiber.
