This is an early Spring picture looking South through the iconic Cherry Avenue Bridge over the North Branch of Chicago River located in Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. This 230 foot long single span bridge serves the Baltimore and Ohio Chicago Terminal Railroad and a non-motorized walkway, it is an example of a Metal Pin-connected PrattThrough Truss, Moveable Swing Bridge, it was built in 1902. This Bridge was declared a Chicago Landmark on December 12, 2007. This picture was taken on April 6, 2019.
