Pictured is `De Musica` by Eduardo Chillida located at the Meyerson Symphony Center in downtown Dallas, Texas. It was commissioned for opening of the Meyerson in 1989. The immense steel sculpture weighs several tons. It is the largest and most important work by the great Basque sculptor Chillida in the United States. He died in 2002 at the age of 78. It was donated to the people of Dallas by Frank Ribelin, a wealthy successful businessman who expanded his support of art endeavors after the sale of his business in 1987.
