Arizona, View From the Mogollon Rim #145083862
Description
The Mogollon Rim forms the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau in Arizona. It extends approximately 200 miles 320 km, starting in northern Yavapai County, running eastward, and ending near the border with New Mexico. Its most spectacular portions are characterized by high cliffs Coconino Sandstone - on right. On the left of the far horizon the Four Peaks 40 miles east of Phoenix of the Mazatzal Mountain Range are visible, more in the middle farthest horizon: Mount Ord. Extensive Ponderosa pine forests are found both on the slopes of the Rim and on the plateau north of it. The photo was taken off highway 260 between Heber and Payson.
