This black and white photo is entitled David Hockney and Henry Goldzahler from 1976. Hockney is an English artist and photographer. Goldzahler, who died at 59 in 1994, was a Belgian born curator of contemporary art.The image is from the photographic exhibit Explicit Tensions:  Mapplethorpe Now, at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City on April 23, 2019.  Controversial American photographer Robert Mapplethorpe 1946-1989 was a cultural icon and was critically acclaimed for his technical mastery in his work.  His daring imagery offended many by crossing social and sexual taboos and led to lively and sometimes heated debate about censorship.
