The Cristal Palace, in petropolis, Rio de Janeiro, an important landmark from the empire time of Brazil. Listed by the National Institute of Historic and Artistic Heritage, this original architectural monument forms part of today's Confluência Plaza. the Crystal Palace was built in 1879 by the Anonymous Society of Saint-Sauvers Les Arras, France, for the Petrópolis Horticultural Association. The metal frame and glass enclosure is a perfect model of the new architectural style that emerged with the Industrial Revolution ages.
