Mating Dance Of The Blue Footed Booby On Isla De La Plata, Ecuador Stock Image

A male blue footed booby struts for the female and shows her his feet. The bluer the males feet, the younger he is, and therefore, the more attractive he is to the female. The male dances for the female, chin to the sky, on isla de la Plata, Ecuador, a small island found off of the central coast near Puerto Lopez. The island is sometimes referred to as the `poor man`s Galapagos`.
