The Hermitage of Nossa Senhora da Conceicao or Ermida de Nossa Senhora da Conceição in the picturesque town of Alcoutim. This town is located in the Eastern Algarve on the bank of the Guadiana river, where at this point the river is the border between Portugal and Spain.The Hermitage itself incorporates the ruins of a 16th century Manueline church although the structure is mostly from the 18th century.
