At the base of the sculpture you can see 1,000 plaques, dedicated to supporters of the appeal.A three-metre tall bronze ibis is the first sculpture to be unveiled in Hyde Park for 50 years. The Royal Parks Foundation has worked in partnership with the Halcyon Gallery to bring the sculpture to the shores of Hyde Park`s Serpentine lake.
