Five avenues are located in the south of the downtown area of Tianjin. They juxtapose five streets named Changde, Chongqing, Dali, Munan and Ma Chang in East and West directions. They are the most complete architectural complex of foreign buildings in Tianjin and even in China. Tianjin people call them `Five avenues`.Five avenues area has more than 2000 garden-style houses with different national architectural styles built in the 1920s and 1930s, and the building area has reached more than 1 million square meters. Among the more than 300 typical buildings, 89 are British architecture, 41 are Italian architecture, 6 are French architecture, 4 are German architecture, 3 are Spanish architecture, and there are many Renaissance architecture, classical architecture, eclectic architecture, Baroque architecture, courtyard architecture and Chinese-Western architecture, which are called the World Architecture Expo Garden.
