Built between 1936-37 for the Golden Gate Exposition of 1939, Treasure Island San Francisco the navy sized the island in 1942The island closed as a Naval facility in 1997 and reverted back to San Francisco. This ships gun tyrant is now in the parking lot of a former hanger.
