The cosplay began with the creation of fictional characters, and today it caters to all branches. They are people who dress of their favorite characters pre existing or not. Over time, however, it has become a tradition and a habit that has spread to all sorts of conventions, involving series or characters, especially those of Star Trek and Star Wars , in which the costumed people became a main attraction, in fantasy contests and interpretations of scenes from the films or episodes, which allowed to reveal professional-level talent. It quickly spread all over the world, arriving at Comiket, a famous convention held in Japan for years, where the term became popular and spread especially in events and anime, manga and videogames, respectively animations and manga.
