Wudaoying Hutong is a East-West hutong, which starts from Yonghegong Street in the east, connects with Andingmen Street in the west, and connects with Jianchang Hutong in the south. Hutong is 632 meters long and 6 meters wide. There are 69 courtyards. It can be seen from exit D of Yonghegong Metro Station on Metro Line 5. It is the preferred place for resting feet and feeling peace and quiet after visiting Yonghegong Palace.Wudaoying, formerly known as Wude Weiying, belongs to Chongjiaofang, a street that existed after Zhu Di, Taizu of the Ming Dynasty, built his capital in Beijing. It is said that Wudaoying is the barracks base of the Ming Dynasty. In the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed `Wudaoying Hutong` and in 1965 it was renamed `Wudaoying Hutong`.
