Detail of the Grande ArcheLe Grande Arche triumphantly closes the most spectacular series of Parisian perspectives. It has the shape of an empty cube, in slabs of white Carrara marble and optical glasses that do not distort reflections, a view and a cloud of teles stretched in the wind.The two side bodies are connected at the bottom by a body of three floors.For the bicentenary of the French revolution by President Mitterand, the winner of the competition announced by Mitterand himself was the Danish Johan Otto von Spreckelsen, assisted in the realization by the French Paul Andreu.The Nuages âââ‰â¬Â¹Ã¢ââ‰â¬Â¹in canvas and steel were created by Andreu together with Peter Rice
