Description
Changa Manga is a man-made forest which includes a wildlife preserve, approximately 80 kilometres southwest of Lahore.Pakistan is home to many wonderful places. One of these is the Changa Manga forest. It is believed to be one of the worldââ¬â¢s largest man-planned and man-grown forests. Planted in 1890 by the then ruling British, its aim was to provide wood fuel for the railway steam engines.The forest is located close to Lahore around 70 Kilometers from the city and covers a massive 48.6 square kilometers, or 12,000 acres.
