The Star-trail Tree Stock Image

This picture has been taken at night in the French countryside. Long exposure and digital blending is necessary to obtain such an effect. We clearly see on this picture the rotation of the Earth and we can recognize the evening star, the only one which is not moving in the sky and that the sailor could use to know the North direction.
