Gobekli Tepe Turkish for Potbelly Hill is an archaeological site in the Southeastern Anatolia Region of Turkey approximately 12 km 7 mi northeast of the city of Şanlıurfa. There are substantial grounds to claim that the most significant archaeological discovery of the 21st century is the Göbeklitepe. First of all, it dates back to 12 thousand years ago.
