In the northern-most part of Trentham Estate stands the remains of Trentham Hall, including the sculpture gallery, clock tower and the Anglican St. Marys and All Saints Church. Demolished almost a Century ago, this was once one of England’s grandest country houses. This photograph was taken from Piet Oudolf`s Floral Labyrinth, which set against the backdrop of historic parkland and ancient trees, is a labyrinth of paths meandering through 30 beds of tall perennial planting, offering up bold colours and wonderful aromas.
