The Kaidu River is called the river of nine turns and eighteen bends. Here it winds it`s way through the grasslands of Byanbulak as a lone horseman tends to his sheep under a dramatic autumn sunset. Bayanbulak is a high prairie grassland located in China`s Xinjiang Province that is home to descendants of people from Mongolia.Beautiful landscape of the Bayanbulak or Bayinbuluke Grassland National Nature Reserve,which is from Mongolian `abundant spring` is the second largest grassland in China, located in the Bayanbulak Basin of the Tian Shan mountains in northwest China.The terrain is mostly flat, and encompasses a middle section of the Kaidu River `Peacock River`. The reserve is 200 km northwest of Korla in the Bayingolin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture of Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region. Mongolia Bayanbulak grasslands, meaning `rich springs`, prairie flat terrain, abundant water, is a typical grass meadow steppe, is one of the most important bases of animal husbandry in Xinjiang. There is snow capped mountains under the `land of idyllic beauty eighteen bend, the Kaidu River, more elegant and charming Swan lake.
