First Hall-Welcome to Rome of Palazzo Braschi today Museum of Rome, Italy. The museum itinerary starts in the hall of the second floor dedicated to the topics of Rome in time. Located in the heart of Renaissance Rome, between Piazza Navona and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II Palazzo Braschi was the last palace builded for a nephew of a pope, Pius VII, in 18th century. From 1952 it houses the Museum of Rome that conserves examples of art, history and culture of the city, as well as the memory of the urban changes and those parts that were lost or disappeared in time.
