Replica of the Wooden Sailing Ship, Deliverance, in Bermuda #157501580
Description
Deliverance is one of two ships built from the wreckage of the Sea Venture after it was wrecked off Bermuda during a hurricane in 1609. The shipââ¬â¢s company stayed in Bermuda for 9 months before completing the construction of two small rescue ships, Patience and Deliverance, and setting sail for Jamestown, Virginia, on May 10, 1610. Reconstruction of these ships led to the permanent settlement of Bermuda by Britain
