Keselo Fortress Towers in Upper Omalo Village, Tusheti, Georgia #158644205
Description
Keselo is an ancient fortress in Tusheti, now restored. It is an excellent example of the medieval architecture of Georgia; it was built for defense against the invasion of conquerors. Today we can see here five towers, as well as the remains of the destroyed fortress wall. Towers built of slate stone are divided into the lower, two middle and two upper.
