Lady of Angels small church in the Adriatic sea in bay of Kotor. church standing just above the sea on the way to main town in the bay Kotor. It is believed that the church was built earlier than the years carved on the walls in 1585 and 1654. It is assumed that these were the years when the church was rebuilt.In 1585, fortifications were built around the church to serve as loopholes. The Southern Cape then became a strategically important place to defend the city. Then the church was restored.The second year of reconstruction was in 1654 when the church was destroyed during the Turks` attack on Perast, but was rebuilt in the same year.
