Description
Amir Chaghmagh Complex during the sunset in the center of Yazd. The major highlight in this square is a 3-story facade. The third floor has three arches and it is crowned by pair of tall minarets. During the sunset, this beautiful structure starts to shine into the night with an orange light. The city has long history of over 3000 years and originally was known as Ysatis (or Issatis). Today the city is bearing name of Yazdegerd I, a Sassanid ruler.
