Pictured is an orientation table on the top if Castle Hill in Castle Hill Park in Nice, France. It`s dial marks the elevation of the hill and the Mediterranean coast. It was placed by the Touring Club of France and marks the elevation as 92.755 meters. Castle Hill is the most famous public garden in Nice. The top of the hill used to be the site of the Castle of Nice from the 11th century to the 18th century when it was finally destroyed by French troops under the command of Louis XIV.
