State Attorney and Angelica Library #161525601
Description
The complex of Sant`Agostino in Campo Marzio embodies three profoundly different realities, all of great depth: the State Attorney General, the state body institutionally responsible for the legal protection of public administrations, whose headquarters contains works of art of absolute value; the Angelica, the first public library in Italy from the very rich patrimony including Latin, Greek and Oriental manuscripts, incunabula, sixteenth century, very rare engravings and geographical maps; and the convent of the Augustinian Order. On the occasion of the FAI Autumn Days it will be possible to visit the law offices, and then move inside the Library.
