Park CanadaPark Canada or later name Ayalon-Canada Park is a well-groomed park located in the hills between the Latrun interchange and the ravine gate - halfway between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. This area was a difficult battlefield during the War of Independence. After seizing the space during the Six-Day War, the residents of four Arab villages were evacuated, and became one of the most beautiful parks in Israel. The park`s development was carried out by the Jewish National Fund, starting in 1973, with the generous donation of the Jews of Canada, in the park`s area is the ancient city of Ayalon, which gave the park its second name - Ayalon Park.The area combines planted pine forests along with olive groves, almond orchards and other fruit trees such as dates and almonds, whose winter blossoms are spectacular.
