Avenue of the Palm Trees in the Botanical Garden in Trastevere, Rome, Italy. The Botanical Garden has one of the completes collection of palm trees in the world. The Botanical Garden of Rome since 1883 is situated on the eastern side of the Janiculum hill behind the Corsini Palace. Today it`s directed by the Department of Environmental Biology of the Sapienza University of Rome and includes the archeological area situated on the Septimius Severus Bathes and the historical gardens of Palazzo Corsini, erected for the Corsini family between 1730ââ¬â1740 on designs of Ferdinando Fuga.
