Blakeney Point Saltmarsh Norfolk #162131628
Description
The salt marshes, tidal mudflats and reclaimed farmland make up the Blakeney National Trust Nature Reserve, a four mile spit of shingle beach and sand dunes. The reserve is part of both an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a World Biosphere Reserve near Blakeney and Morston. For more than a century, following pioneering ecological studies, the area has been monitored. A team of seasonal Rangers live and study in the area. Taken late October.
