Industrial archaeology in Rome #162207101
Description
The shot shows a typical example of industrial archaelogy in Rome, Ostiense district, near the Gazometer. This structure occupies an area of two hundred cubic meters and is found together with three other gazometers. Two of these are also unused, while the third has been transformed into a huge parking lot. The two smaller gazometers were built in 1910, while the larger one, the one in the Ostiense area, was erected a few years later, exactly in 1937
