Pinecones, Pinebough, bittersweet vine berries, and colorful maple leaves #162235152
Description
In autumn and early winter, chlorophyll, the green pigment within leaves, is absorbed back into the plant, and the red and yellow pigments, present all year round, are unmasked. Reddish-brown creeping stems and leaves support clusters of tiny yellow flowers and orange bittersweet berries that usually bloom just in time for autumn floral arrangements in the Northeastern part of the United States. Atumn in NYS FingerLakes region is abundant with colorful holiday decor.
