The view from the top of Conisbrough Castle, a Medieval castle in South Yorkshire. Initially built in the 11th century by William de Warenne. Hamelin Plantagenet, the illegitimate, parvenu son of Henry II, and his son William rebuilt the castle in stone in the 12th century.
