Springbok Antidorcas marsupialis is a jumping antelope from southern Africa whose Afrikaans name means: `spring` and `bok`; or Euchore, a gazelle with a back pocket because of its ability to make big leaps, especially when pursued by a predator. He can also jump vertically, almost on the spot, for no apparent reason, leading his fellow creatures to do the same. This behaviour has not yet found a plausible explanation
