Description
The Sacred Way of Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum in Purple Mountain, Nanjing city of Jiangsu Province, China. Along the road are stone animals including lions, camels, elephants, unicorns and horses. Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is one of the Imperial Tombs of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, which is UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum is the tomb of the Hongwu Emperor, the founder of the Ming Dynasty. The Mausoleum was built between 1381 and 1405. Photo taken in November, 2019.
