Pictured are two wooden semi-abstract sculptures by American artist Helen Phillips titled `Adam` left and `Eve` right. They are on display in a corridor around a circle of lecture halls on the lower level of the McDermott Plaza on the campus of the University of Texas at Dallas Southwestern Medical School. Helen Elizabeth Phillips was born March 3, 1913 and died January 22, 1994. In her lifetime she was an American sculptor, printmaker and graphic artist active in San Francisco, New York and Paris.
