Social inequality in copacabana beach - Rio de Janeiro #168219899
Description
Copacabana is one of the most emblematic beaches in Brazil! It became famous and today is one of the biggest points of interest in Rio de Janeiro. Its greenish and icy waters are a refuge from the summer heat in the city.Always very busy, the beach in Rio reflects a little of what Rio de Janeiro is, a high-spirited place with a unique natural beauty! The beach is long and has a long stretch of sand, which during the summer is crowded with people. The boardwalk, made with black and white Portuguese stones, is another symbol of the place.Along the beach there are several kiosks, many people playing sports, street vendors and a bicycle lane. It is well worth taking a moment of the trip to stroll around, ride a bike and cool off with a coconut water enjoying the sea view. Another tip is to visit Copacabana Fort and also take pictures with the statue of Carlos Drummond de Andrade, at the time of post 6.
