Elephant At Munnar In Kerala Stock Photography

Located in Munnar, the Anamudi Peak which literally translates to Elephants Foreheads is home to the largest surviving population of Asian elephants. Kerala has one of the largest number of domestic elephants in India with the number as high as around 700. They also have around 7000 wild elephants with the number increasing every year. It has even been named as the state animal. There are quite a few wildlife sanctuaries and parks to see elephants in Kerala.
