Description
Corydalis pallida Thunb. pers is a kind of annual herb with a foul smell. Height 20-60 cm. Stem is one or more, from axil of basal leaf, angulate, often upper part of branch. Most of the basal leaves are roseate and wither at the flowering stage. Racemose flowers terminal and axillary, sometimes to leafy, sparsely many flowered and or long or short inflorescence axis. Bracts lanceolate to oblong. Flowers yellow to light yellow, thicker, flat. Sepals suborbicular, central. Ovary linear, capsule linear, moniliform. Seeds black and bright, caruncle like. It is produced in most parts of China, and grows in corners, crevices, ditches, meadows, etc.
