Description
Tofu is food that is made from the sediment of soybean seeds which is coagulated. Tofu comes from China, as does soy sauce, tauco, bakpau, and meatballs. The name `tofu` is an absorption from Hokkian tauhu Hanzi: è±â èâ¦Â, hanyu pinyin: doufu, which literally means `fermented soybean`. Tahu has been known in China since the Han dynasty around 2200 years ago. The inventor was Liu An Hanzi: åŠⰠå®Ⱐwho was a nobleman, grandson of Emperor Han Gaozu, Liu Bang who founded the Han dynasty.
