Migrant Caravan From Honduras Crosses Guatemala And Is About To Enter Mexico Editorial Image

A group of about 300 Hondurans, part of the First Migrant Caravan of 2020 coming out of Honduras, is seen resting at the entrance of the Rodolfo Robles bridge, the international border between Mexico and Guatemala, as they arrive after entering and crossing this Central American country, January 17, 2020. As thousands of Central American and Extracontinental migrants try to make their way from their home countries towards the United States in search of the so called “American Dream, local authorities ramp up security and try to stern the immigration flow, due to threats made by U.S. President Donald Trump, to cut aid funding and money to countries that organize Migrant Caravans, as this phenomenon, that started in late 2018, keeps going in a new way for migrants to travel safely and save money, by traveling grouped together in large quantities, in a massive exodus and influx in immigration.
