Austrian castle Miramare in Italy, view from the garden with a large pot with a plant in the front #171567934
Description
Miramare Castle is a 19th-century castle on the Gulf of Trieste near Trieste, northeastern Italy. Built from 1856 to 1860 for Austrian Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian and his wife, Charlotte of Belgium, later Emperor Maximilian I and Empress Carlota of Mexico, based on a design by Carl Junker. The castle is in the center left of the photo with the gardens in foreground. A clay pot is in the right of the photo and a thin sliver of Adriatic sea can be seen in the distance to the right. The blue sky transitions to white haze from left to right of the picture.
