Description
A v8 locomotive was a type of electric locomotive installed by General Electric, created on the EP-4 model built for New Haven, although its characteristics on the American railway are different in terms of operating voltages, pantographs and bogies. While the American tricks were deep in the Brazilian V8 they were of the type welded bars, lighter and easier to be adapted to the 1600mm gauge.
