Description
The Drum Tower is an iconic building of the Dai nationality and is popular in the border areas of Hunan Province, Guizhou Province, and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China. The Qiang Drum Tower is one of the three treasures of the Qiang Xiang, and it is the place where the Qiang young men and women love songs sing. The Qiang Drum Tower is different from the Beijing Drum Tower and the Xi`an Drum Tower. It is a bit like a tower but not a tower. The Dong Drum Tower is not a modern building with a certain history. It is said that the Drum Tower was built in the 9th year of Ming Chongzhen 1636. If this statement is correct, then the Drum Tower has gone through 366 years of ups and downs. In addition, there is a Drum Tower built in the 11th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty 1672 in Zengchong, a village in Congjiang County, 330 years ago.
