Description
Kuala Lumpur National Mosque, Malaysia`s famous mosque. Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Built in the 19th century, it covers an area of 55,000 square meters. The roof consists of 49 large and small arches, the largest of which has a diameter of 45 meters and 18 radiating starbursts. It represents 13 states and five Islamic homework. The temple has a pool and a fountain, and a 73-meter-high spire in the middle of the pool pierces the blue sky. There is a chanting hall that can accommodate 8,000 people, and the decoration is similar to that of Mecca. It is one of the largest mosques in Southeast Asia.
