Description
Alabaster cinerary urn with the figure of a man reclining on the lid and a carved panel on the chest. The figure wears a mantle, banqueter`s wreaths and finger-rings, and holds an embossed libation bowl in his right hand. He leans on on two tasselled cushions. The scene on the chest has been thought to represent the death of Eteokles Evzicle and Polyneikes Fulnice.
