The second largest transfer cylinder in Tibet #176217574
Description
This is the second largest transfer tube in Tibet, located in the ancient city of Shangri-La-Dukezong. The scripture drum is a kind of religious tool. The Tibetan people put the scripture in the canister. When people turn the sutra in a clockwise direction, it means that you have silently recited the scriptures in the canister, which is the best way to repent the past, avoid disasters and seek refuge, and cultivate meritorious deeds. Tibetans often hold small rotary cylinders in their hands and keep spinning. They will also go to the temple and turn the large rotary drum. The turning tube in the picture, located next to the Great Buddha Temple in Dukezong, is named `auspicious Victory Building`. It is 21 meters high and weighs 65 tons and requires several adults to rotate together.
