Ten hand pumps dispense at least one real cider, with Westons and other local ciders appearing regularly. The pub itself was built by the grandfather of Captain Scott of The Antarctic fame. Since becoming a JD Wetherspoon in 1999, the pub has established a well-earned reputation for its` well-kept real ale, and supplements this with a map of where the breweries are located.
