Mural on the side of historic Fire Station No.3 in Deep Ellum in East Dallas, Texas. #177850010
Description

Pictured is a mural on the side of historic Fire Station No.3 in Deep Ellum in East Dallas, Texas. The central feature is the emblem of the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department. If you look closely you see an alligator in the bottom left. Year ago firefighters had purchased a baby alligator through the mail and raised it in the courtyard in the middle of the station. When it got too big they donated it to the Dallas Zoo. The main mural artist was Mariel Pohlman, a Deep Ellum resident.
